Al-Zawraa’s top scorer, Alaa Abbas, will miss his team’s next match against Erbil, in round 10 of the Iraqi Premier League, scheduled for December 15.
Abbas, who scored 4 goals this season, will be absent after he received a third yellow card in the previous confrontation against Al-Qasim, which ended in favor of his team (1-0).
The absence of left-back Hossam Kazem was also confirmed, due to the accumulation of cards as well.
Today, Monday, the team will conduct its last training session at its stadium in Baghdad, under the leadership of coach Ayoub Odisho.
The Al-Zawraa delegation will head tomorrow morning, Tuesday, to the city of Erbil (northern Iraq) to face the owners of the land at Franso Hariri Stadium, next Thursday.
It is noteworthy that Al-Zawraa ranks fourth in the Iraqi league table with 19 points, two points behind leaders Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.
